What to expect
Learn the machine, then enjoy it.
The reformer looks complicated, but it only takes a class or two to feel at home on it. Foundations goes slowly, explains everything and keeps the springs light while you learn.
In every class
A set-up check: footbar, headrest and springs
Breathing and core connection, the Pilates way
Footwork, bridging, rowing, feet in straps and long stretch
A cool-down stretch on the carriage
Most people take two Foundations classes before moving on to Reformer Flow. There's no test, and you can come back any time.
