Pilates is one of the best ways to stay strong in pregnancy, as long as the class changes with you. Always check with your doctor or midwife first.
First trimester
Keep doing what you know, at a lower intensity. Tiredness is normal, so it's fine to skip a class or take a lighter one.
Second trimester
This is when Prenatal Reformer comes in. We stop lying flat on your back and add more pelvic floor, glute and upper back work.
Third trimester
Shorter range, more support and lots of breathing. The goal is to feel strong and comfortable, not to push.
New to Carriage
